7th Block
July 1, 2008
I knitted this block over the weekend. But last night while sorting out my craft room, I took this photo. I have a day job so 90% of my photos are taken at night – which is not ideal – but I’m working on it.
But while sorting out and unpacking boxes that I have had for years, I found this treasure. A wooden bookmark with this beautiful butterfly motif cut-out. I found a few other treasures, but will take some pictures on the weekend, when I have better lighting.
7th Heaven
Wool: Sirdar Fresco and Double Elle Gold Double knit
Colour: Shade 0807 and Avo
Stitches: 22 st
Rows: 36 r
Needles: 7mm Plastic needles that were my mothers
I haven’t had time to sew a big block of all the smaller ones I have done, but will try to get it done during this week.
